Project: Exploring Waste Management – Best Out of Waste

Objective: Students will research waste management strategies and create a useful or decorative item using waste materials, fostering creativity, environmental responsibility, and teamwork.

Students will begin by exploring waste management principles: reduce, reuse, and recycle.

-Students will need to brainstorm and plan what they will present.

-Have a blueprint of their idea and the materials needed.

-Collect the waste materials (non-toxic, school appropriate)

-Can take help of adults at home or teacher at school for complex things only.


Assessing Criteria: 

Planning - Detailed and neat blueprint 

Creativity - Unique and creative use of materials

Functionality - Durable, and practical 

Waste utilization - Usage of waste materials
